SG HSR is bringing a new travel experience to the region with the Kuala Lumpur – Singapore HSR express rail service between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
The Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) is a strategic project between the Governments of Malaysia and Singapore. It will facilitate seamless, door-to-door travel between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and cut travel time to 90-minutes, changing forever how we travel between these two great Southeast Asian capitals.
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, SG HSR PTE. LTD. is the builder of Singapore’s terminus station, tunnels and a share of the connecting bridge over the Straits of Johor. Each member of our team brings invaluable experience to the delivery of this mega-infrastructure project.
At Malaysia’s request and in the spirit of bilateral cooperation, Singapore has agreed to suspend work on the HSR Project for a period up to 31 May 2020. Both Governments exchanged legal documents to formalise the agreement of the suspension on 5 September 2018. Both Ministers reaffirmed the mutual benefits of the HSR Project as it will bring both countries closer together by improving connectivity, deepening people-to-people ties and catalysing further economic cooperation.
